Have a licensed electrician install your generator to protect the safety of your household and the OPALCO line crew. OPALCO’s new electric car charging units have been installed on Orcas, Lopez and San Juan Islands. Learn how they work on the Electric Car page. There are currently 64 electric cars registered to San Juan County drivers and OPALCO is ready and able to accommodate a growing number of battery-electric cars as the 2011 crop hits the pavement – including a Nissan Leaf for OPALCO’s Energy Services office.
